How it works
Every market has two or more outcomes. You buy shares in the outcome you think will happen. If you're right, each share redeems at 1 demo point when the market resolves. If you're wrong, the shares expire worthless. Prices between $0.01 and $0.99 reflect the crowd's current probability estimate.
Where markets come from
Markets are created and reviewed by SOV Predict admins. Some are seeded from public prediction-market data, rewritten to fit a Caribbean context. Every market lists its resolution source and close time up front.
Why demo-only
Prediction markets sit in a complex regulatory space. SOV Predict is built demo-first so the product can be enjoyed across the region without triggering regulated gaming rules. A real-money mode may follow — behind KYC, jurisdiction rules, licensed rails, and independent compliance review — but that's not on the current roadmap.
